Its hard to count the road trips we had and the sequences we've shot so far. Yet this was the very first one I've bothered to sit for an edit and been screened among the Turkish shorts selection of Istanbul Independent Film Festival in 2007.

Nakka! is the name of the unique exhibition on gay and transexual discrimination and hate crimes around Turkey. Much have been discussed during and after the opening event and Seyhan and HaZaVuZu's exceptional performance was only a small part of what have been going on that night and yet this video is only a short and tidy edit. / Feburary 2010

This was a spontaneous short-doc shot during !f istanbul 2010. Mr. Gokhan is the film operator for the two respective international film festival in Istanbul. He had his last 40 years behind the white curtain. He loves telling his history and sharing his knowledge, from coal running film machines to the development of the tools and no doubt some about today and how we get ready for the festival. / Feburary 2010
